Terms and ConditionsWe reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read them on each occasion you use this website and continued use of this website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions. Defective GoodsThe customer shall examine the goods as soon as the delivery is received. The customer shall immediately notify Northwest Hardware of any damage, loss or shortage of goods. Unless Northwest Hardware is notified within 7 working days the customer will be deemed to have accepted the goods in satisfaction of the corresponding order. Within 14 days of Northwest Hardware’s request the customer will return any damaged goods to Northwest Hardware. Our liability (if any) will be limited to replacing or repairing or giving a credit from such goods. The customer will not be entitled to make any claim against Northwest Hardware for any indirect or consequential loss arising from loss, damage or shortage of goods ordered. Returns PolicyNo claim of any kind whatsoever shall be entertained by Northwest Hardware in respect of allegedly faulty goods or goods other than ordered unless received in writing within 3 days of receipt by the customer. Northwest Hardware will not accept any goods returned to their premises unless prior authorization has been given and a returns note has been issued. A handling charge of 20% will be applied on goods that are being returned by the customer due to the customer error in ordering (please read the lock identification page carefully to prevent this), the customer will also be charged for the return carriage. The customer must notify Northwest Hardware in writing within 7 working days of delivery if the goods have been ordered incorrectly by the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all products authorized to be returned to Northwest Hardware are packaged to protect against damage during the return transit. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the second part of the Northwest Hardware’s returns note is enclosed with the product being returned. |
