Course 1: Lock Identification & Double Glazing Repairs

This course is ideal for beginners as it covers all the basics from how to measure the backset of a lock to measuring double glazed units.

This is a one day course and consists of the following;

Lock identification (including backset, PZ, identifying locking points etc.)
Door resets and adjustments
Replacing door hinges
Upgrading locking mechanisms
Fitting additional locks and furniture
Fitting friction stays, espag rods & window handles
How to survey double glazed units
How to remove and refit double glazed units

Course 2: Cosmetic & Structural PVC Repairs

This course gives an in depth training into the cosmetic & structural repair of PVC window and doors.

The course covers a wide range of repairs from minor scratches to cracks and holes. The trainees will have the opportunity to work with specialist power tools and use top quality repair products all of which you will be able to purchase on completion of the course. This course is ideal for complete beginners and also those who have experience in the PVC industry and wish to extend there knowledge and services that they can provide their customers. This course is a one day course.
